Refund Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of your product to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason or pay any penalties.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • In its original condition, unused and undamaged.
  • In its original packaging, with all accessories and documentation.
  • Accompanied by the proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice).

3. Exclusions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following categories of products, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code:

  • Opened incense, candles, and essential oils: products that have been unsealed after delivery and that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons.
  • Personalized or custom-made products: items made to order or clearly personalized at the buyer's request.
  • Perishable goods: products that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
  • Sealed goods: any sealed product that was unsealed after delivery and is not suitable for return due to health or hygiene considerations.

4. Return Procedure

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us within 14 days of receipt at contact@aunomducoeur.market, indicating your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. You will receive a return confirmation with instructions.
  3. Ship the product(s) to the address indicated, within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal.
  4. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless the product is defective or non-conforming.

5. Refund

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, the refund will be processed within fourteen (14) days using the same payment method used for the original purchase (via Stripe). The refund includes the product price and the initial standard shipping costs. If you selected an expedited shipping option, only the standard shipping cost will be refunded.

The refund may be withheld until the product has been received or until you have provided proof of shipment, whichever comes first.

6. Defective or Non-Conforming Products

If you receive a product that is defective or does not conform to its description, you are entitled to:

  • A replacement of the product, subject to availability.
  • A full refund, including return shipping costs.

7. Damaged Products

If your product arrives damaged during shipping:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@aunomducoeur.market.
  • Include photographs of the damaged product and packaging.
  • We will coordinate with the Seller and shipping carrier to resolve the issue promptly, either through replacement or refund.

8. Dispute Mediation

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through our customer service, you may resort to a consumer mediator in accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
